Baldwin Park-OB3 - Orlando's Bourbon, Beer N' Bites Festival

Baldwin Park Event for Saturday, September 24, 2011 - Baldwin Park's Paddy Murphy's has partnered with Events for Change; the non-profit group that hosted Orlando's Chili Cook-off. Together they are producing OB3 - Orlando's Bourbon, Beer N' Bites Festival. This will be a day of bourbon sipping, beer tasting and the sampling of scrumptious bites from local vendors. A portion of the proceeds from OB3 will go to benefit Wounded Warrior Project.

Real estate is highly localized. One neighborhood in Orlando can easily outperform another neighborhood within close proximity. Baldwin Park, located near the heart of Orlando, appears to be stabilizing and, in fact, prices have been increasing since May of 2011. The following data extracted from the Mid-Florida MLS for the past 24 Months (report date Sept 1, 2011) show that home prices are on the rise in Baldwin Park.

The latest numbers show a median price for the end of July 2011 of $465,000, the highest in the past 24 months. The bottom was reached back in January of 2011 at a median price of $305,000.
