The Gospel for Teens Choir serve as ambassadors of gospel music, bringing together people of every race, nationality, religious, or spiritual background with the message that we are more alike than we are different; we all have spirit.  Come and enjoy this fantastic group of young talent.

The Gospel for Teens Choir was created by the legendary writer and producer Vy Higginsen and gospel legend Dr. Emily “Cissy” Houston in order to teach aspiring teenagers about the importance of gospel music as an art formand pass the music from this generation to the next.

The choir has been featured on NBC News, “60 Minutes,” The New York Times, The New York Daily News and other local and national media outlets.

Orlando Art Museum - 1st Thursdays ~ 6pm-9pm. “Orlando’s original art party” is the award-winning 1st Thursdays presented by the Associates, the OMA’s volunteer support group committed to expanding OMA membership and encouraging the appreciation of the visual arts. From 6 - 9 pm on the first Thursday of each month, OMA showcases a new theme with works by local artists, live music, cash bars serving wine, beer and soft drinks, and café offerings from area restaurants.

Admission to 1st Thursdays is free for OMA members, $10 for non-members, and includes access to the OMA's featured exhibitions. Parking is free at Orlando Loch Haven Park

Winter Park Playhouse - Spotlight Cabaret $20 (includes a drink) ~7:30pm. A fun entertainment option at The Winter Park Playhouse is their Spotlight Series of cabarets in the beautiful lobby piano bar. Enjoy an assortment of beverages from the Tuscan inspired mahogany bar while experiencing “NewYork style” cabaret. Each show is approximately 50 minutes in length and features a fabulous singer and pianist

The City of Winter Park and Enzian collaborate to produce a cinema series in Winter Park. The series is called "Popcorn Flicks" and features classic films for the whole family. Popcorn Flicks are usually held on the second Thursday of each month. The films are FREE and open to the public. We encourage you to bring a blanket, a picnic or snacks, and some family and friends and join us!

Popcorn Flicks are scheduled for 7PM, but may not start until sunset to provide an optimal viewing experience for our attending guests.

These outdoor screenings are dependent upon Florida's somewhat unpredictable weather conditions. In an effort to avoid cancelling an event, Enzien may wait until 30 minutes prior to the set screening time to officially post a cancellation notice; which will be posted on the Popcorn Movie page. To complement the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Stroll, Popcorn Flicks in the Park, presented by the City of Winter Park and Enzian will feature "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" and "A Christmas Story." Bring your blanket or chair to enjoy the movie under the stars in Central Park. Free popcorn for everyone! (Rain Date: Monday, December 5, at 7 p.m.)

History Center Holiday at Heritage Square-Free Holiday Event

Free holiday celebration for the whole family at the History Center at Heritage Square. Add this to your Holiday fun and bring friends and family to the museum for this annual, festive holiday celebration at 6:15 p.m this Wednesday night.

Enjoy refreshments and musical performances by the Grand Avenue Elementary School’s choir, Voices of Valencia, and the Blu Trio, visit with Santa, explore the museum, make holiday crafts, and more.

This free family friendly event runds from 6-8 p.m.  The Square lighting will occur approximately 6:15 p.m. Dont miss it!
